I have recently attended an event organised by a manufacturing company for thier employees. The event was full of information, knowledge related to the company goals and how it matters for our nation.
The event included various speeches, perspectives of employees followed by some activities. Each activity was designed to learn something for personal as well as company growth.
The last activity was played by dividing the employees in 4 teams of 15 in each. During the activity, everyone tried to give their best, little bit confused, but enjoyed the moments.
As the activity ends and as the winner team name announced by the anchor, the winning team members started cheering very loudly with smiles and happiness on their faces.
This was very usual. But something got clicked in my mind when I observed rest 3 teams with full of silence and blank faces. I was in the team from one of them clapping and smiling alone watching and observing the reactions of all the 4 teams.
Event ended with a lovely dinner and everyone left by saying goodbye to each other.
During travelling back to my home, seating in metro, I remembered one of the activity from my success gyan journey where we learned to cheer and celebrate like crazy for others wins, even the smallest ones.
I realised again that in this so called competitive world, ‘Humans always forget the Humanity’.
It could be very natural to celebrate such win of own team members. This was a small experience which can be connected in general day to day incidences in our society.
The fact is we are all human beings. Everyone has their own journey, ups n downs, perspectives, openions, values and so on. These differences makes us ‘We’ with unique qualities. And that is precious.
But, instead of celebrating the uniqueness, our mind starts comparing every moment with self, unnecessarily and unknowingly. That is how our conditioning done and so as a result our mind has become.
So, Lets start changing this pattern by being genuinely happy for others also for their wins and happy moments. Let’s make people FEEL GOOD
This will eventually create a ripple effect and we will also attract such happy moments. This is how the Universe works. ‘Like attacts Like’. ✨
